Born in the almost geographic center of Kansas, and now in Michigan
Started back in the day with Comodore systems and graduated to PDP-11’s, moved onto Novell, MS Windows & BSD, then Irix & Solaris and recently topped things off with Linux.
I love me some Perl, and my previous love was Pascal (so it must be something with programming languages starting with “P”)
Been using Symmetrix storage for about 10 years, a love/hate relationship with Clariion/Celerra from ip4700 (hated) to CX[6|7]00 was OK and recently a NS960 (OK so far).
Also have used NetApp for about 6 years, but only on the outskirts, I’ve gotten much more hands on and dirty with it in the past 2-3 years.
